Lose Weight, Look Great, Feel Amazing

Beginners Class

After your initial Free Fitness Assessment, we will pair you with a coach for 1-on-1 sessions focusing on bodyweight movements and light weight implements. We’ll teach you the basics, emphasize proper technique, and get you prepared for the main group class.  Each session a coach will teach and demonstrate the foundational movements we use  as well as review range of motion and various scales to get you moving safely. Following the instruction portion of the class, you will participate in a workout. You will get sweaty and you will have fun. Once you are competent in the movements we use daily, you may graduate to our regular classes and get the full experience!


You’ll be participating in group classes utilizing CrossFit methodologies.

What to Expect

Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and certain mechanics in order to scale to the experience and fitness levels of any individual, be it a total fitness beginner or elite competitive CrossFitter. This is the reason this program gets acclaim from military personnel, professional athletes, soccer Moms, Dads and grandparents alike.

All of our CrossFit Classes are coach-led and follow a planned progression roughly 60 minutes in duration and follow this basic structure:

A certified coach will guide you through warming up, followed by movement instruction and demonstration for the workout. The Coach will supervise and correct any movement performed by you during the workout.

Nutrition Coaching

This program will  break your complex nutritional goals into small, strategic daily practices that add up to massive body transformation. You’ll develop healthy habits that become second nature and last a lifetime.  We’ll start with you — your life, needs, and goals. Then we’ll develop a personalized plan to help you eat, move, and live better — in a way that fits into your real, everyday life.  We’ll match you with a coach who will give you accountability, direction, and support every step of the way. They help you stay consistent, no matter what life throws at you.

Adrian's Story

"At my heaviest I was about 290 pushing 300. I started my weight loss journey through biking. I lost a lot of weight just starting mainly being active. I hit a plateau probably at 265. That’s when Rudy asked me to come to his new gym he had just opened in August of 2014. At the time, I thought I was pretty fit. That first trial class was rough. I couldn’t do a push up, pull up or a squat. At the time, I was still smoking. Didn’t really eat very healthy though I thought I was. I drank beer at least 3 times a week.

After that trial class me and my wife decided to join the gym. It was such a good workout and I had fun doing it. The small milestones i accomplished were huge to me. Box jumps, pull ups, push ups, squats and a huge one for me was lunges. Lunges were always hard. I couldn’t lunges to save my life. Over the last 3 going on 4 years, I can lunge with front rack weight, back rack weight and overhead weight.

Three or so months ago I accomplished what I thought I would never accomplish; pistols. The excitement and feeling of accomplishment I get from this is indescribable. Not only am I making gains, but my body has transformed in ways I never thought it would. The biggest transformation has come from nutrition. I started the Fit Life Metrics nutrition program with Jeni in March of 2017.

I have learned that the only way to see real progress is by weighing and measuring my food and by eating real food. The progress just since then has been amazing. My initial goal was to hit 220 pounds. I have surpassed that at 208 and am working to get below 200. My body fat has dropped about 10% since starting the nutrition program and my goal is to be at 15% body fat. This is the first time in my life that I can actually see that I have abs. This is such an exciting and positive journey and i am proof that with Crossfit and nutrition, anyone can reach their goals."

Tori's Story

My weightloss journey started like most people's as a New Year's resolution for 2017. I have spent many new years making the same resolution and never succeeded. I started the year off at 220 lbs and a size 20 in pants. At the time The Fit Stop Crossfit was hosting it's annual Open Competition and Paleo challenge. Elaine convinced me to give it a try and it was the first turning point of my journey. I fell in love with the gym, the people, and the workouts during this competition. It was so amazing to see how many people were on the same journey as I was which made it so much easier.

During the open I was able to drop my first 4 lbs. The second turning point was meeting with Jeni Fite in March 2017, she kicked my weightloss into over drive with my nutrition counseling. I weighed 216 lbs and wore a size 18. She helped me learn how to fuel my body for the best performance and how to kick so many bad habits. The weight melted off pretty quick by July I was at 191 lbs at a size 14.

I continued the nutrition and started participating in competitions outside the gym with my gym buddies and it just made time fly by. In January 2018 I was at 181 lbs and a size 12 same size I wore in high school. One year may seem like a long time but it really wasn't. I started this year surpassing my resolution from last year and it was the sweetest victory i have ever had. This is not the end for my journey, it's just the beginning.

Progress over Months

Rose's story

Let me tell you a story about Rose. She seems to take the road less traveled. For that reason, my journey, is my journey that no one else can tell. I started my journey years before, and I lost and maintained that weight loss, gained strength and felt confident in myself. I transitioned into Crossfit in 2014, and excelled in anything to do with the barbell, but my cardio sucked.

Fast forward Jan 2016, my first official month at the Fit Stop Crossfit, and was encouraged highly to join the Paleo challenge, so I did. That helped me kick start my way back to whole food eating, and eliminating some food items that I probably didn’t need so much, like donuts. My body works so differently than most, I easily can add muscle, and slowly (like a turtle) burn fat, so my changes were more body composition changes, and the scaled moved a little. I was happy, then we met with Jeni in March, and she really rocked my food and nutrition world.

I was back to tracking macros, and felt like on top of the world. Again, more body comp changes, strength gains but that stupid scale wouldn’t move. I need that scale to move. I was focused in 2017, but probably not as focused as I needed to be, but I wasn’t giving up, it’s not what I do. Another year later, 2018 and I sat with Jeni in our many convo’s and told her, I’m focused I’m ready, and we are going to make this work. She gave me a goal to work towards in this cut, it was a hefty one, 30 lbs. In the first 2 months of really focusing, I dropped 13 inches all over.

My energy is up, I’m doing my cardio workouts as she wants me too, and the scaled moved! It continues to move! Working with Jeni and being at the Fit Stop with amazing people who are like family has helped me so much. More than they probably realize. I know I have so far to go, and that’s ok, it’s my story after all. But I always remember, “Darling, look how far you have come!”


Bobby's Story

My journey started at the Doctor’s office. I was having trouble sleeping and couldn’t make it through the work day without a nap.  The Doctor told me that I had sleep apnea.  He said that I could get a sleeping machine but the best medicine would be to lose weight.  He stated I was heading down a path for heart failure and possible stroke if I didn’t make any changes.  I was 80lbs over weight and had extremely high blood pressure.  I knew that I didn’t want to go back to the gym with the same boring transition of running on a treadmill or elliptical machines.

I decided to give crossfit a try and from the 1st workout I was hooked.  The feeling I get after a workout is better than anything I can describe, I have never felt this after running on a treadmill for 30 minutes.  I find myself smiling more and enjoying life more.  I am able to keep up on workouts now and push myself further than I ever have before.  This is not a sprint to lose weight, it is a marathon that takes time and dedication, but the rewards are worth the wait.  The second part of the journey is nutrition.  As Rudy likes to say you can start working out but if you don’t change your eating habits you will hit a wall.

I made the choice of changing my eating habits and have seen the differences in the way my clothes feel and in my workouts.  I feel it every day and I have lost about 40 lbs so far and plan to lose more.  Jeni Fite the nutritionist sets you up for success with your own personal goals and plan.  Rudy and Elaine have changed my life, they have saved my life!  If not for them and the motivation I received from everyone I would not be where I am today. 


Physical Change

Claire's story

For most of my adult life, I have always considered myself a fit person. I would work out, eat moderately healthy daily, and I kept my weight in check. After I had my daughter, I really put my fitness and health on the wayside. I ate everything, and I would only work out periodically. As a consequence, my weight went up and I felt terrible. I was scrolling through Facebook and I saw an ad for a fitness challenge at a local gym. I was desperate to feel like my old self and nothing else had worked, so I decided to give the challenge a shot.

When I say this gym changed my life, I really mean it absolutely transformed my views on fitness, my health and body. CrossFit can be intimidating but it's addicting, it's fun, and it made me confident again. Not only was I challenged physically by awesome coaches, I met an amazing group of other athletes whose encouragement and friendship made the experience that much more.

In my first month of working out, I was offered nutrition counseling from Jeni and Fit Life metrics. I learned how to fuel myself correctly, when to eat, and to change my relationship with food. Jeni answered all my questions and I received 24/7 support. I also received comprehensive body fat metrics to keep me aligned to my goal and kept me on track. I can proudly say that I went from 176lbs to 158lbs (18lbs!) and from 37.4% body fat to 21.2% body fat in 6 months. Getting fit and living a healthy lifestyle is never easy but having the right support, the right coaches, and the right gym can make a world of difference in your success.

Angie's Story

I have never really “stopped” on this journey of mine. Crossfit taught me how to see myself through a different “lens”. It taught me how to push, and embrace the look and feel of “strength” versus what society thought I should look like. Then I encountered Fit Stop Crossfit, and they taught me to look a little deeper within me and not settle for the numbers on the white board.

It is by their guidance, and our nutrition coach, Jeni Fitethat I learned just how important of a role nutrition plays in my life. I learned to have a healthy relationship with my foods, and though I am not perfect, I know that each day I get better with the help of my amazing coaches and my girl, Jeni. So thankful and blessed to have these people in my life. Strong is the new EVERYTHING!
