Do I need to be in shape to start CrossFit?
CrossFit is universally scalable meaning anyone with any fitness level can start this program because we will take the written workout and customize it to your fitness level and ability.
Are all classes instructor led?
Yes! your monthly fee pays for access to any of our multiple classes per day. Each class is taught by an instructor.
Why is CrossFit more expensive than regular gyms?
We are a personal training studio conducting our classes in a group environment. All sessions are led by a certified instructor. We are going to teach you the proper way to execute all of the movements we use.
Can I just come in and do my own workout?
No. Your dues goes towards access towards the instructor led classes. The prescribed workout of the day must also be followed. Scaling options are always available if you have limitations but your instructor will help you decide what to do.
What is the difference between all of the CrossFit gyms?
Although all CrossFit Level 1 Trainers have gone through the same training, we are allowed to formulate our program however we see fit. When searching for a gym, you should pay attention to how much of an emphasis is placed on safety and on how much time is spent teaching proper movement.
There is no secret about why CrossFit works. CrossFit is Constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity. The intensity is always based on the individual person's ability. Because we focus on functional movement, this program translates to your everyday life. How often do you bend over to pick up groceries? That's a deadlift. How often do you stand from a seated position? That's a squat.
